Phnom Penh is seeking investor in public bus

Public transportation is needed for Phnom Penh as the city population is getting bigger and the city is expanding. Public transportation could help reduce expenses, save fuel, reduce congestion, and reduce carbon footprint. Here, we got 2 letters from the Phnom Penh city hall website. The first one is the letter that the city hall is seeking companies to invest in public bus and the second is the letter of the result of shortlisted companies. This is a good step toward public transportation in Phnom Penh city.

The Sleuk Rith Institute

Document Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) is an organisation which is leading in documenting about Pol Pot regime since 1995. The center is planning to build The Sleuk Rith institute which will be a permanent documentation center of Cambodia and it aims to be the leading center for genocide study in Asia. The Institute will consist of 3 pillars: a museum, a research center and a school.

2nd Public Gym


After the 1st Public Gym in front of Wat Oudnalom was successfully launched, the 2nd project on the Park at the east of the Ministry of National Defense, along Road 169 had been established. That public gym was built on the existing park by sharing a space size of 920m2 and equipped 18 different types of equipments. Most of those equipments were imported and the rests were local.

Duration: Started from October 17, 2011 and expects to complete on January 30, 2012 (107 days)
Budget: 163,000,000.00 Riels about 40,177.USD
